About Summer

Empowering elementary students to reach their full potential is my primary passion. I believe that true academic success stems from building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. By breaking complex problems into manageable steps and connecting lessons to real-world interests, I create an engaging, supportive environment where students thrive. I adapt my teaching strategies--using visual aids, hands-on activities, and open dialogue--to match your child's unique learning style. Clear communication with families is essential to me, as it ensures we remain a collaborative team focused on progress. Witnessing that "aha!" moment when a student masters a new skill is the most rewarding part of my work. I look forward to helping your child develop the critical thinking skills they need for long-term success, and I am excited to be a part of their educational journey.
