About Summer

Hello! My name is Summer and I would love the opportunity to learn more about your family and how I can best support you. For the last two years I have worked as a special education teacher at a charter school in west Nashville. Prior to working in education I was a behavioral therapist for children on the spectrum! I have experience working with children aged 2-12 and have previously nannied twin boys. I love the outdoors and prioritize activities that help children hit their milestones! Due to my background in education and behavior I love playing education games that foster a love for learning as well as build reading, math, and critical thinking skills for all ages. I will be graduating with my degree in special education in June and will be starting graduate school in the fall to obtain my master in behavior analysis. I have a car and am comfortable with pets. I'm excited to learn how I can help your family thrive!
