About Summer

Hello Families! My name is Summer and I work as a part-time special ed teacher. Outside the K-8 classroom setting, I have experience caring for children from birth to age 13. From the age of 10 through high school, I babysat for families in my neighborhood and community, and I loved teaching Sunday school to busy toddler classrooms. After moving to Phoenix for college, I continued babysitting for families with infants and quickly became the designated diaper-changer at my local church! I also had the opportunity to work as a daycare teacher for children with severe behavioral diagnoses. I've always loved children, and that passion has shaped both my career path and my dream of raising a family of my own someday. Under my care, your children with be safe and hopefully have some giggles too! I'm dependable, patient, and committed to following your family's schedule and routines as closely as possible.
