About Summer

Hi! My name is Summer and I'm a full-time Recreational Therapist with a deep passion for supporting older adults in living meaningful, enriched lives. I graduated from Indiana University in 2023 with a degree in Recreational Therapy and have been working in the field ever since, primarily providing therapeutic activities for seniors in both group and one-on-one settings. I have extensive experience working with individuals living with dementia and hold certification as a Dementia Engagement Specialist. My training has equipped me with the skills to connect with seniors in compassionate and engaging way. I'm currently looking to offer caregiving services on the side, bringing my professional background and genuine love for this population into a more personal, supportive role. Whether it's companionship, cognitive engagement, or help with daily routines, I'm committed to making a positive difference in the lives of the seniors I care for.
