About Summer

I am an Indiana University Bloomington Alumni with a bachelors in recreational therapy and minor in psychology. I am currently working as a Life Enrichment Assistant downtown in geriatrics and am looking for a part-time/as needed job with children. I have four years of experience working with children with ranging needs and abilities. I worked as an after school teacher/ summer camp counselor for 3 years for the non-profit organization called, The Boys and Girls Club. I provided therapeutic programs and activities for children of all ages. I have also done a lot of volunteer work with children with special needs and am great at managing /redirecting behaviors. I also nannied for 3 different families for years at a time when I was home from college. I am certified in First Aid and CPR. I am hardworking, genuine, empathetic, understanding, kind, and reliable.
