About Summer

Hello I'm Summer and I am looking for a part or full time nanny job! I'm taking just a couple classes in the spring , Children have always brought me joy! They make me laugh, and I love their curiosity and excitement to learn. I also love infants and toddlers. I'm really good at putting children at ease and soothing fussy babies. I have been caring for children since I was 12 years old as a babysitter, daycare worker, substitute teacher, lifeguard and mother's helper. Last summer I taught 2nd and 4th graders at a summer camp, and for the past two semesters I've worked at local elementary schools as part of my practicum. I am happy to drive kids around, clean up, help with schoolwork, go to the park and read books. I like books, crafts, hikes/walks, board games, movies, plays, and hanging out with friends and family!
