About Summer

I discovered my passion for working with children after spending a year nannying for my premature niece. This was an experience that taught me patience, empathy, and just how much joy little ones can bring. :) When I'm not caring for children, you'll usually find me on my computer playing video games, getting lost in a good book, writing, painting, or hiking! I also love to travel when I am able. I can cross Germany, Switzerland, and Austria off of my bucket list! I also love all kinds of music-it's always playing in the background when I am able to have it, and keeps me inspired in everything I do! I have done professional nannying/helping pre-schools through agencies for 2 years, and have been the lead teacher for pre-schoolers aged 3-5 for 3 years total! I do have experience with all age groups though! I can also provide learning and growth implemented curriculums and activities. :)
