About summer

Hi! My name is Summer , and I am 21 years old. I live in Mt. Airy, where I am pursuing a dual major in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. I have always loved being around children and helping them learn and grow. My mom is an elementary school teacher, and I grew up visiting and helping at her school. I also gained experience caring for my younger cousins. This semester, I am beginning an internship working with children with special needs and will complete additional internships throughout my program. I am looking for a part-time nanny or babysitting position that works with my school schedule. I am comfortable working independently or while a parent works from home. I am patient, caring, dependable, and enjoy keeping children engaged through fun and creative activities. I take childcare seriously and will always do my best to make your child feel safe, happy, and cared for.
