About Sumiyah

Hi! My name is Sumiyah and I have a genuine passion for working with children and helping them learn, grow, and feel safe. I currently work as an Assistant Preschool Teacher, where I care for and support young children in a classroom setting. My experience has taught me the importance of patience, creativity, consistency, and creating a positive environment where every child feels valued. I enjoy planning engaging activities, reading stories, helping with learning through play, and encouraging children to build confidence and independence. I understand that every child has their own personality and needs, and I take the time to build trusting relationships with both children and their families. I am dependable, responsible, and attentive to safety at all times. Whether it's preparing simple meals, helping with homework, maintaining routines, or keeping children entertained with fun and educational activities, I strive to provide reliable, compassionate care.
