About Sukhmani

Helping students find confidence in subjects that once felt overwhelming is what I love most about teaching. As a Student Support Instructor at Lexington High School, I've taught and modified core subjects, including algebra, geometry, English, biology, and chemistry, for students with autism, creating customized study materials to help them succeed on assessments. I hold a BS in Molecular and Cell Biology from UConn and I'm currently completing a BA in Education (Secondary Biological Sciences), so I bring both strong subject knowledge and a real understanding of how students learn. My approach is patient and tailored to each student. I break complex material into manageable steps, adjust my methods to fit different learning styles, and focus on building genuine understanding rather than memorization. I have a lot of experience supporting students who need extra scaffolding or a different pace, but I work well with any student looking to strengthen their skills.
