I am a Virginia native living primarily in Richmond and often in Virginia Beach due to my husband's job. I am professional, knowledgeable, widely experienced, reliable, and passionate about providing compassionate and individualized care to my clients. My schedule is flexible, my preference is part time or short term opportunities. While I am comfortable with all ages, I am not a nanny and enjoy seniors and special needs. My experience includes 25+ years in healthcare, while raising three (now adult) daughters. I am comfortable with care in home, as well as hospital/rehab/nursing facilities, pre and post op procedures, chemo, cancer, ALS, and hospice. I am a trained End of Life Doula. I am also an artist and an art educator, interested in using art as therapy. Comfortable with pets and the day to day light housekeeping and some errands, too.

Sue has helped me through the most difficult 6 months of my life. I had gone through surgery, which presented endless challenges for me in day-to-day care, personally and medically. Each time Sue came through my door she would have everything under control within a very short time. Without my even asking her, she would understand what I needed, took care of meals, checked on my meds, cleaned and tidied each room, took care of my cats, plants, the laundry, the dishes, the fridge and food supply. Took charge of all my many doctors appointments, kept the calendar, took me to each appointment, wheeled me through miles of hospital halls and doctors' and therapist's offices, sat through each appointment taking careful notes. At home she guided me through my exercises, firmly, patiently, gently ignoring my complaints.Sue has rescued me on so many of my gloomiest days! I cannot ever thank her enough. I recommend her most highly.
