Subnia was personable, easy to talk to, and seemed comfortable with kids, which made giving her directions simple. I appreciate her warmth and friendliness, but I have a couple of concerns that led to my rating, specifically around reliability and patience. After about two weeks of caring for my 1-year-old, Subnia let me know she needed to take time off to support her grandfather. I completely understood and encouraged her to take the time she needed. However, I haven’t heard back from her since, and ultimately decided to find other childcare support. During her time with my child, who is typically very easygoing, I noticed a tone of impatience when he was a bit fussy. She would often say "what" to him or speak in a slightly irritated manner, which made me a little uncomfortable. As a first-time mom, I may be extra cautious, but I feel that I would only leave my child with Subnia if I were nearby to supervise.
