About Steven

I have over 9 years of hands-on experience supporting adults with complex medical and mobility needs. My longest role was caring for a man with cerebral palsy and cancer who used a wheelchair. I assisted with daily needs such as bathing, dressing, transfers, meals, companionship, and end-of-day care. I've also supported adults with developmental and mental disabilities in structured care settings, which strengthened my ability to remain calm, patient, and adaptable to different routines and needs. I believe good caregiving is about building trust and understanding what helps someone feel comfortable, safe, and respected. I'm friendly, dependable, and attentive. I know when to be encouraging and engaging and when someone simply needs quiet support and presence. Whether someone is mostly independent or needs more daily assistance, my goal is always the same: to help each person live as comfortably, safely, and meaningfully as possible while maintaining dignity and quality of life.
