About Steven

I'm retired now after having spent 34 years as a teacher and school administrator. I care about people and still feel I have the kindness, patience and sense of professionalism to help others. During the pandemic I was able to provide meals and social support to an older gentleman in my neighborhood. I loved the time we spent together. I am a thoughtful, honest person and trusted caregiver. I love to cook and view mealtime as a social event. At 67 years old I'm still quite capable and remain determined to help others. I believe in protecting and maintaining the dignity of every person. Aside from my work life, I've been an avid gardener, woodworker, homesteader, hiker, husband and father of three children (now adults).
