About Stephen

Hello, my name is Stephen and I'm a Doctoral Candidate in Physics at the University of Connecticut with a B. A. in Physics from Clark University in Worcester, MA. As a Teaching Assistant for Physics I & II (PHYS 1502), I support engineering and pre-med students in mastering fundamental principles of mechanics, electricity, and magnetism. I specialize in remediating or accelerating mathematics and physics learning from the middle school through college level, tailoring lessons to each student's pace and goals. My teaching emphasizes clarity, curiosity, and confidence--integrating insights from mathematics, physics, and the philosophy of biology to inspire deeper understanding.
