About Stephen

am an experienced educator, with 19 years teaching experience in courses in AP U. S. history, world history and niche electives. I like to foster a dialogue with students about history, so we are able to foster a climate of inquiry, where students are active participants. I am currently a department chair, and am an instructional leader in the discipline, sharing best practices coaching other teachers and leading department curriculum initiatives. I have helped students achieve sustained exemplary results in local and national assessments and have built a reputation as a teacher who is personable, engaging and creative.
