I have been working with children my entire life. I've been teaching for the past 10 years, ranging in grades from 3rd-8th. I have a masters in education, a bachelors in English and a credential in both English and multiple subject. I also volunteered in both High School and Elementary school levels weekly for 2+ years in Santa Cruz while getting my undergrad, and have been a summer camp counselor for 5 years. Stefanie was a total gem. I traveled out of town with my family to Carmel for a wedding from Chicago. Stefanie coordinated plans ahead of time with me, was super responsive any time I asked her any questions, and even FaceTimed with my 6 year old and 1 year old to introduce herself. She babysat for us on Friday and Saturday nights during the wedding events at the hotel we were staying at. Both times she was timely, responsive to my texts, engaging with my kids, and just overall the best. She was warm, welcoming, kind, considerate, and just everything you would ever want in a babysitter. I cannot believe how lucky we got with Stefanie; I brag about her still to my friends when they talk about the complications of having a babysitter at a hotel.
