About Stephanie

Hi! I'm Stephanie, a former lead teacher in a 18mo - 3yr old classroom at a Montessori school. After working at that school for 6 years, I decided to change career paths towards clinical mental health counseling, and have spent the past 2 years nannying part-time while pursuing a Master's degree in that field. I approached the field of nannying looking for a part-time work schedule that can accommodate my studies and that my current skillset can support. I have a lot of experience working with young children, and I feel that transitioning from teaching to nannying made sense for my abilities as well as a means to achieve my future goals. I see working with a family directly as a natural progression of my previous work in partnering with families to support their children's development. I have limited availability at this point in my grad program so I am looking for one-time or periodic evening or weekend babysitting opportunities.
