About Stephanie

I am a single mother with a 17-year-old son. I began babysitting as a teenager in 1992 to several cousins and continue to do so through the years. I received my associates degree in Early Education in 2009. I graduated with honors. I worked as a lead infant teacher for a few years but could not live on the low wages. Other responsibilities included floating to all other classrooms ages 6 weeks to 5 years, and preparing meals and snacks for all the children in the school. I attended St. Rose working towards a degree in Speech and Language Pathology. After 3 semesters learning about disorders and the vast world that entails, I had to withdraw for financial reasons. I can care for any child of any age, and have experience learning with children with special needs. I also cook and clean. I returned to child care in 2020. I spent 2 years as a toddler, and nearly 3 years as an infant teacher. I also train student teachers and interns.
