About Stephanie

I have been caring for infants and children from ages birth to 10 years for 20 years. I have 5 years of experience as a certified infant/toddler preschool teacher as well as 15 years of experience as a nanny. My Bachelor's degree in Psychology has provided me with important knowledge regarding child development that helps me create age appropriate activities for children based on their stage of development. Incorporating nature, respect for our physical environment and a peaceful sense of humanity through FUN, creative activities are at the core of my philosophy in providing warm, loving childcare and support to parents. My favorite ways of engaging with children of all ages include enjoying the outdoors, arts and crafts, sensory-focused activities, gardening, cooking and baking. Each child's individual interests are the main focus around which I tailor fun outings in the community, reading imaginative books and fun art projects to create among many other activities.
