About Stephanie

Hello! My name is Stephanie. I have been working in childcare for eight years, and teaching elementary for four of those. In addition to teaching, I have worked as an afterschool counselor, site director, applied behavior analyst, babysitter, and (my favorite!) camp counselor. Throughout each of these jobs I have grounded my approach in the saying, "what you pay attention to grows." I believe strongly in positive reinforcement and in building a child up with the right skills and attitude so that they have the confidence to accomplish anything! I consider it an honor to be a part of a child's care team, and work to support any family goals. My skills include cultivating social emotional awareness, creating and maintaining a positive environment, and managing behavior responsibly and empathetically. In my free time, I like to be outside as much as possible! It will usually look like hiking, reading, crafting, swimming, or biking with friends and family.
