About Stephanie

My name is Stephanie and I'm a patient and active young adult who loves working with kids! I first started working with kids as a teenager in our local church and loved the opportunities I had to teach kids and answer their questions. I have also been a long term nanny for several families, mostly working with ages 4-12. In those homes I have loved bringing kids to the park, the library, comic book stores, theme parks, museums and more. I love keeping the kids under my care active, fostering creativity, responsibility, and kindness. I've found that in play, chores, homework and relaxation there are wonderful teaching opportunities in conflict resolution, imagination, resiliency, endurance, and more. In future childcare jobs, I would be open to providing childcare for date nights and special events or being an in home babysitter for a couple days a week. Under the right circumstances I would also be open to a full-time nanny position.
