Making a difference in someone's life is what I strive for as a caregiver. With 23 years of experience working in direct care. I am compassionate and friendly approach to my work. I am committed to supporting the well-being and independence of the adults and seniors I care for, drawing on positive experiences from previous roles. I understand the importance of building connections by learning about individual preferences and personal history. When caring for someone with special needs or memory care needs, I am experienced in de-escalating stressful situations, redirecting attention, and incorporating memory care activities. I always follow the family's preferred communication method to keep them informed about their loved one's well-being. I also have some college education, a car, and am comfortable with pets.
