Steffie was a nanny for my son from when he was ~8 to 14 months old. I can't say enough about what a wonderful caregiver she is! She is warm, energetic, attentive, and caring. She formed such a sweet bond with my son and to this day is like a "bonus" grandma to him. At the start, she asked great questions and took time to observe my husband and I interacting with him so she could do things in a way that felt familiar and comfortable for him. At the same time, she did things with him I would never have thought to do, like sit and quietly listen to the birds. To this day, my son is obsessed with birds. She took such a genuine interest in his development and was always so excited to share with us things he did or tried each day. Also, Steffie has a ton of experience. She's a mom and grand-mom. And she has been a caregiver for many years, in many capacities. Between that, her focus on safety, and her incredibly genuine personality, I found her to be extremely trustworthy.
