About Stephanie

I have professionally cared for young children for almost 10 years. I began as an Infant/Toddler Teacher at daycares where I was responsible for caring up to 4 children aged birth-3 years. These positions provided me with several hours of professional development training, in addition to the trainings I studied to complete my Bachelor's degree. These experiences have taught me the skills needed to plan age appropriate lessons and activities aimed at improving motor development, early language development, and self-help skills. I began my career as a nanny in 2015 and have since provided care for 3 families including a nanny share, all of which lasted 2-3 years when the children began preschool. My style of nannying leans towards a Montessori style environment in which the children are gently guided through their learning and exploration. As a caregiver, I believe it is my job to provide a loving and encouraging environment in which children can grow and flourish in their independence.
