About Stephanie

Throughout my academic career, I have always made an effort to aid those younger than myself struggling in school. I believe everyone can succeed and surpass their potential with just a little practice, confidence and motivation. I have been a private tutor from the age of 12 years old, mostly providing services to the children of family friends and family members. I was an after school mentor and science intern affiliated with the New York Public Library & Discovery Kids. My role consisted of creating and teaching elementary science based lessons/experiments; along with tutoring in math and sciences at the elementary level. I pursued a degree in Psychology with an emphasis on physiological systems and neuroscience, thus being fortified with a heavy science background in organic chemistry, biology, anatomy, physiology etc... During my last year of undergraduate studies I focused on tutoring with Sylvan Learning for four months.
