Three stars to do an even split, as the job had never been completed. I reached out for services, as the reviews were great and immediately exchanged numbers with this caretaker. I described the cleaning job and the caretaker agreed, so a date was set. I asked if pictures were needed before accepting the job and was told no. Upon arrival, caretaker was not in a position to do the job, but view the place. I was confused but asked could they come the next day to do the job. The caretaker agreed but would not give me a paying rate. They said only donations and good reviews were asked of clientele. I gave my own rate I intended to pay (over $20 an hour) and the caretaker accepted. The next day, they canceled an hour before the time to come clean and asked could we reschedule. I agreed. They did not arrive the scheduled time nor was I ever contacted again. If there was no interest in the job or a change in decision had been made, it's best to communicate that explicitly so a new caretaker can be called. Caretaker was very respectful, but days were wasted on this transaction.
