I am currently employed. The company thrives to better the lives of individuals living with a variety of special needs and disabilities. I work in a youth group home occupied by children with a wide range of special needs, some being mild-severe autism, ADHD, aspergers syndrome, learning disabilities, and behavioral issues. The most rewarding part of what I do is provide the children I work with support, stability, love, hope, and encouragement. Having these children who look up to me and rely on me just as much as my young son at home does, is an experience and opportunity unlike no other. It should not even be considered work. I am currently pursuing my bachelors degree in human services which is a direct result of how much what I do means to me. Being around children has been a passion of mine my entire life, having the opportunity to make a difference and positively impact each and every one of them goes far beyond that.
