About Stephanie

We've had Stephanie over to care for our 18 month old girl more than 10 times now. She is truly excellent. She is incredibly reliable, always responds quickly to my texts and has never canceled on us. She is GREAT with our daughter and brings a background in the RIE method but is not dogmatic about it at all. She is very fun, takes her outside, to the playground, to the library and is very good at entertaining her at home. She sometimes brings toys and books and is thoughtful about what our daughter would like to do. She follows my instructions and always lets me know how things are going with pictures and texts. She is not afraid of tears/tantrums/bad moods and responds calmly and lovingly but not overly indulgent either. She always tells me if anything happens of concern, a bump on the head, and particularly vigorous tantrum. I trust her completely and am so happy we have her in our and our daughter's life.
