I started caretaking 6 years ago when my husband came from California to live here in NY with me. He was paralyzed by a car accident when he was 19. He passed away in March of 2024 at the age of 32. My life was dedicated to taking care of him. Because of him, I am experienced in caregiving. Through him I learned wound care, ostomy and catheter care. I will forever be grateful for all he has given me.
