Hello, my name is Stephanie, and I have a natural affinity for children, which has inspired me to dedicate my efforts to supporting, mentoring, and enriching their lives. I am excited to apply for the nanny position with your family, as I believe my background in childcare equips me to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for your children. My experience includes engaging kids in creative activities, promoting positive behavior, and maintaining a structured routine. I value open communication with parents and am committed to adhering to your guidelines and expectations. I would love to learn more about your family's needs and discuss how I can contribute to your child's growth and development. Please feel free to reach out to schedule an interview or ask any questions. Thank you for considering my application; I look forward to the possibility of working with your family.
Stephanie has a great demeanor and was amazing with my 5-month baby. During the interview she came across kind, knowledgeable, and passionate about early childhood development. As a first-time mom, I really appreciated her open communication and found her advice reassuring. She proactively planned appropriate learning and play activities for my baby’s development milestones and shared feedback with me. I was also comfortable with her because I noticed that my son was at ease in her presence. At times, I would periodically hear my son giggling. When she arrived for the day, he was happy to see her. She respected my preferences (e.g., kept my son on a consistent schedule/routine, regularly moisturized his skin to prevent flareups, incorporated outdoor play time, and actively engaged with him throughout the day). During his naps and independent playtime, she ensured that his playpen remained tidy, folded and put away his clothing, utilized his bottle washer, kept his bouncer and walker clean, and helped me clean his teething toys regularly. At the end of each day, she gave me a detailed summary about his meals, bottles, diaper changes, naps, new behaviors/skills, and what time he got any medication, if applicable. The care she provided helped me transition from maternity leave back to work with peace of mind. She is on my shortlist for when I’m able to hire a nanny on a recurring basis.
