I have a corny but earnest motto when it comes to working with children: clarity, consistency, and kindness. I began babysitting at 11 and have worked with children ever since in after-school programs, summer camps, long-term nannying, substitute teaching, and as both an assistant and lead Montessori teacher. I've cared for infants, multiples, and school-aged children, and I'm adaptable to many family styles. I've worked for a lovely family for the past three years. I will be with them until the end of August. I will be available for a new full time position then. Currently, I am available in the evenings and on the weekends. I bring my Montessori background and caregiving experience to every interaction, creating calm, engaging environments where children feel seen, supported, and inspired to learn. Families describe me as reliable, patient, and creative. I love people, and I'm endlessly curious about how children see and approach the world.

Stephanie or as our girls call them, Ses or Sesame, has been with us full time for 5 years. We do not want to give her up, but both kids will be in school full time this Fall. We could not have found a better fit for our family and kids. She has introduced them to the public library, various play groups, and helped bridge connection between our family and the community. She completes household tasks, prepares meals for kids, provides learning opportunities, and most importantly of all, allows us the peace of knowing our kids are in safe, trusted hands. I never worry when my kids are with Stephanie. She is worth every dollar, and our family is going to be so sad when we wake in the morning to not find Ses jumping right in to help. She’ll forever be part of our family.
