About Stephanie L

For almost two decades, I worked as an RN across many areas of healthcare (ICU, home health, hospice). I have supported others during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives-through recovery, decline, fear, confusion, and transition-and I have learned that excellent care is not only about clinical skill, but about presence, patience, and genuine human connection. I have learned how to work with confusion rather than against it, how to respond calmly to agitation, how to create safety through consistency, and how to communicate with compassion when words begin to fail. Although I no longer work in a licensed nursing role, I retain the knowledge and skillset. What I offer is something more personal: one-on-one, independent, highly attentive care that is not rushed, institutional, or impersonal. I prefer working independently because it allows me to truly focus on the individual-not a schedule, not a quota, not a checklist, but a human being.
