About Stephanie

Hello Care. com! My name is Stephanie. I have a degree in Human Development, a course of study focusing on the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of people from conception until death. I have an 18-month-old baby boy, and I am currently a nanny for a very sweet 13-month-old. My5-year-old charge is going to kindergarten so I'm looking to fill my week. I have worked at multiple large, licensed child care facilities with infants and toddlers, some with special needs (physical, cognitive and emotional), and I have experience with twins. I've also worked with weekly nursery groups, both for neurotypical children and children who required extra patience while their parents sought support for domestic violence and substance abuse issues, so I'm comfortable with children who need special help to adjust to another caregiver. I especially love spending time outside and working on art projects together, I love animals, and I'm happy to pitch in with domestic tasks as well.
