About Stephanie

I have limited experience with caring for seniors but I have cared for sick family members post surgery, including neurosurgery, rotator cuff, changing dressing, back surgery, organ transplant surgery, blood transfusions, and more. I have a bachelor's degree from Johnson State College, where I took over 20 courses regarding mental illness and mental health. I am currently working on earning my BSN RN degree, so I am familiar with health care and more importantly, giving proper care with dignity and respect. I used to work for a company where I spent most of the time talking with seniors, and I enjoyed my job, because I was able to work with seniors almost daily. I feel more comfortable spending time with seniors than I do with 20-somethings. I can help with basic cleaning, errands, cooking, walking pets, administering medicine(with written instructions), playing board games, cards, dominos, etc., and companionship/long conversations are a given for me.
