I have a big family including 8 nieces and nephews so it comes really natural. I substituted for Pre-K classes for over 2 years. I worked for a private preschool and daycare and realized that being a caregiver is the profession is such a blessing. Every child is different and you have to listen to learn how to best interact with each one of them. I LOVE to read to children and help them use their creative imaginations to learn different things. I am used to planning crafts, games, learning activities. I do have a 7 & 4-year-old going to school part/full time now and I do truly love caring for children. Some people don't understand that even a "challenging" day providing child care is a great one. I'm not just saying that either. It is true. I just want parents to know that when their children are with me they are safe and my whole focus is the child.
