About Stephanie

For over 10 years, I have been helping students unlock their full potential. I hold a Ph. D in behavior analysis, and my core teaching philosophy centers on personalized support. I build confidence and foster a love for learning through engaging and patient methods. I assess each student's individual learning style through assessment and by actively listening and observing how they interact with new material. I vary my teaching strategies and provide consistent positive reinforcement to keep students motivated, especially when facing challenges. Communication is essential, so I provide regular updates to parents to reinforce learning at home. Seeing a student's confidence grow is the most rewarding aspect of being a tutor. I am happy to tutor at the library and can help with Special Education at the elementary level. CPR and First Aid certified, I would love to help your student thrive!
