About Stephanie

Im Stephanie, an Oregonian spending the summer in D. C. I'll be volunteering in the medical tent and peacekeeping services at the resistance movement on the mall. I trained in 2001 as a CNA in long term care, specializing in dementia; moving on to work in acute care settings, post operative rehab, a small town hospital, and after some years as a stewardess I retrained in 2018 to shift to home health care. In Oregon, I own a death doula business and provide practical and holistic help for the whole family though a loved ones dying process. I advocate for people to get to have the death they want. I facilitate family meetings, educate on the end of life topics, provide personal care, companionship, record final messages, do post mortem care. Whether you need short term help after an operation, transitional help settling in your loved one to a new place or phase of life, or simply errands and companion care; I'm prepared to help you. Available for part time hours starting in June.
