Ive worked in various childcare centers while getting my degree and a couple years after. Ive volunteered with special Olympics since 2003. I've also volunteered to be a buddy for the Tim Tebow Night to Shine special needs prom since 2019. This past school year I was a one on one personal care assistant for an elementary school age child who was deaf partially blind and limited mobility. As his one on one I was a part of a multiple disability support classroom, so I interacted with children who have Downs, cerebral palsy, autism, and various other diagnosis that required them to need a little extra help and support in school.
