About Stephanie

For over 20 years, I have helped students reach their full potential by building them up and bringing out their best. I am an Elementary Ed. & K-12 ESL certified, award-winning teacher with a Master's degree in Education. Additionally, I am a certified Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant. I have taught & tutored both children and adults. I cater to students' individual learning styles, and I keep students motivated and engaged by connecting topics to their interests, celebrating their successes both big and small, and simplifying complex problems. Building rapport and connecting with students, witnessing their growth, and seeing their confidence increase are the most rewarding aspects of tutoring. I am comfortable tutoring students of all ages in ESL, English, Reading/Writing, K-8 Math, Art, Test Preparation, Spanish, and Study Skills.
