About Stephanie

Hi! I'm Steph. I'd describe my personality as playful, kind, and respectful. I like tutoring because I like to pass along my love for learning and the joy of music with my students. I teach children to play music for enjoyment. I'm looking for a job that is on a weekly basis where the student can build on the previous lesson each time. I started teaching guitar in April of 2023 and have been doing so since. In my spare time, I like to write my own songs, read books (I love learning new things in non-fiction books), cook new recipes, and paint or draw. I make a point these days to stay off screens unless I'm doing work related tasks. I also love the beach and hiking. One thing you should know about me is I am very flexible in my approach toward teaching. I don't put expected time frames on learning unless I feel that is what the particular student needs. I do my very best to put the students' unique needs first. My skills include creativity, patience, and communication
