About Stephanie

Hi! I'm Steph--a Certified Child Life Specialist at a local pediatric hospital with over 20 years of babysitting experience- I started as a mother's helper at 9 years old and have since supported countless families as both a babysitter and nanny. In addition to my babysitting experience, I've also been a summer and weekend camp counselor, worked in daycares, preschools, and medically fragile daycares. I have experience working with children on the autism spectrum disorder, children who are non-verbal, aggressive, or cognitively impaired. I've also worked with children who have limb differences. Part of my role at the hospital is to help with medication compliance including pill swallowing education. I have a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Development (Michigan State) and a Master's in Child Life (Towson University). I'm also CPR and First Aid certified, re-tested quarterly at work, so safety is always a top priority.
