I absolutely love working with kiddos! I just finished up units needed to become a permitted preschool teacher in California, but am more interested in nannying. I also have a degree in pharmacy, but made a career change a few years ago. I have always enjoyed working with children so I decided to pursue that route, as I feel I would be happier. I have 10+ years of babysitting and nannying. I have cared for children 3 weeks old up through 16 years old. I tend to enjoy the ages of 0-5 the most. For the last 3 years I nannied for twin boys (they were 3. 5 years when I started and 6. 5 when I finished). I also watch a 14-month-old (started when he was 4 months old) on a consistent basis. I am all about child-led activities as well as a huge fan of play. I truly believe play is a child's work, as well as the way they process the world around them. I tend to set firm boundaries but enforce them kindly, while validating any feelings the child might have.
