I'm sure it is a stressful situation to have a loved one that is alone during the day. I feel it is so important for them to have those Social interactions with someone who is loving, caring and who will treat your family member with respect. I pride myself on having those qualities, and I would treat your family member as if they were my own! I love to chat and to just provide a social outlet - maybe listen to stories about your loved one's life, and just make sure they have that connection to the outside world, even though they may not be able to get out there as much as they once did.
