I have over six years of hands-on childcare experience, including raising my own children - ages 4 and 2. 5 - and regularly babysitting for friends and coworkers. After spending the last decade on the West Coast without my family, I understand what it feels like to not have a big support system, which is why I enjoy helping other families so much. I recently relocated back to MI to be closer to my family, & I am looking to build meaningful relationships with parents who have children around the same age as mine while providing childcare that feels like an extension of family :) With experience in the medical field, I remain calm, attentive, and collected in any situation. I am BLS certified for added safety. I am primarily looking to help with preschool/ elementary-aged kids during the after-school window before parents are finished with work. I prefer just a few regular families so children feel comfortable, and so it feels more like a trusted friendship than temporary care.
