Hi! My name is Stella and I'm a third-year student at Georgia State University studying American Sign Language interpreting. I've been working with kids since I was 12, starting as a mother's helper, then babysitting, teaching at an outdoor preschool, and later nannying full-time for a 6-month-old. I've cared for newborns through school-age children and love each stage for its own joys and challenges. My approach is gentle and patient, with a focus on natural consequences, creativity, and time outside rather than screens. I especially love working with toddlers and babies, and I value becoming part of the family's community, not just an employee. I'm available for part-time or full-time roles, as well as evening and overnight care. In my free time, I enjoy crafts, yoga, hiking, writing, and I serve as president of the ASL Club at my college. Families can count on me to be reliable, caring, and engaged.
I have been Stella’s coworker in several different classroom settings and have witnessed first hand the care and nurturing spirit that she has for children. She just gets it! Whatever classroom she entered kids were happy to see her, and she was happy to see them. More than capable of keeping kids happy and always introducing new ideas for play and learning. Truly a joy to work with and to witness working.
