About Stefanie

I teach nature connection to children 10 months-12 years through games, crafts, stories and songs, and time spent outside in all elements. I have training as an herbalist, tracker, and archery instructor, and I teach these activities children as well. I have a fingerprint clearance card and am current in CPR and first-aid training. My background includes 6 years of teaching in Montessori schools with 1st-3rd graders. I have also worked as a lead preschool teacher, the director of aftercare school programs, homeschool lead teacher for kinder through 6th grade, and as a photography teacher. I have been babysitting since I was 15 years old for children from infancy through pre-teen years. That's about 25 years of babysitting experience. I am partially trained in Early Childhood Development, hold a Montessori Assistant certificate, as well as an Associate of Arts degree and 4 years of vocational outdoor education studies at Wilderness Awareness School in Washington state.
