About Stefanie

Nurturing children and supporting families is my passion. I raised my three children (now between age 6 and 11) and enjoyed being a part of a parent-led playschool. I also volunteer at my children's school as a field trip chaperone, classroom helper, and substitute teacher. I have a graduate degree and one year of professional childcare experience caring for children aged 0-11 and 6-11. My approach is patient, creative, friendly, and I always follow the parents' lead when enforcing household rules. I am comfortable caring for up to two children. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, puzzles, and educational games with children. I communicate with parents at pickup and follow their preferred communication methods. I am happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, and swimming supervision. I'f be happy to refresh my first aid training if needed. Knowing that I can make a positive impact on a child's life brings me immense joy.
