I kept getting notices to work at an early development school that cares for babies as young as 6 weeks up to kids of 4 years old. One day, I took the job. I was immersed in diaper changes, feeding and sleeping schedules, managing kids who don't get along and as chaotic as my first day was, I loved it. I quickly learned early development protocols and teaching guides. We were helping babies be toddlers and toddlers be children and it felt like I was doing something life changing. I learned their cries, their babbling and personalities. These kids quickly became my own. Today, it's hard to trust anyone, everyone. I'm sure you keep going over every profile asking who is right for you. I can't offer everything someone else may but I can offer you safety. If your child is with me, I will do anything to protect them that is within my control. You should at least have that peace.
