I was my grandmother's primary caregiver for the last five months of her life. She had stage four lung cancer. I was on call 24/7. If she woke up, I woke up. If she had to use the restroom I had to handle that. Attended every doctors appointment. Picked up all food, crafts, entertainment, medications, medical equipment, etc. I had to carry her at times when she was to weak to even get in a wheelchair. Later on I went to be a caregiver for a neighbor for quite a while.

We hired Starr as a weekend caregiver. She was 1.5 hours late her first day and :30 min late her second day and then left early because she wasn't feeling well. She wrote a lovely apology note during the week so we gave her another chance for the following weekend. After confirming the day before that she was definitely coming, the next morning she texted that the job was too far for her after all leaving us with no care for the weekend and no time to hire someone else. The one day that she did work she did a good job and was very pleasant to be around.
